Paul Graham

A couple of weeks ago I went to see the Paul Graham exhibition at The Whitechapel Gallery it's a retrospective of his work between 1981-2006. My favourites were the series in Northern Ireland called 'Troubled Land', I love how they seem like innocuous landscapes or street scenes until you look closer and there's a soldier with a gun or a helicopter which gives them a real menacing and quite shocking edge.
